Fears have been realised today as it has been announced that holiday group XL.com will be making significant redundancies. Unfortunately it seems that job cuts could come to the entire workforce – 1,700 UK employees. Yikes!! That is terrible news!!
Rescue plans for companies in these situations are anything but good news when you are the one being made redundant!
Again the message is simple and in no way meant to sound patronizing (we are all in this together you know!) – make sure you protect yourself and your family, get insurance, keep your CV up to date, register with a good recruitment agency in your sector and keep your eye on jobs available in the UK
