Seeing this years apprentice, Lee, hired by Sir Alan Sugar after lying on his CV about his educational background, I wonder will this encourage others to do the same.
Lying on your CV is not good practice. Nearly all educational and relevant work experience is checked up and verified before contracts are released. So how did this one slip through the net and land a £100k a year job? He was the only decent candidate perhaps?
It doesn’t really matter, as it is only telly after all. But one thing YOU must be careful of is being truthful on your CV. Don’t risk it. Get their on your own true merit!
