Can you afford your weekly shopping?

Higher food costs have added on average £15 a week to a supermarket shop for a family of four in the UK.

Comparison website
MySupermarket.co.uk says a basket of 24 staple items including tea bags, milk and eggs costs 15% more than it did 12 months ago. The findings are based on its price comparisons of certain everyday items at Tesco, Sainsbury's and Asda.

This surly means that people are having to tighten their belts in order to afford to pay their other bills which never seem to decrease either. One can only think what stress this puts on parents with young families and their jobs.
